How to delete your account and all associated data from the Nails App

Step-by-Step Guide

You can delete your account and all your data directly from within the Nails App. Follow these simple steps:

Open the App
Launch the Nails App on your Android or iOS device

Navigate to Profile
Tap on the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen

Access Settings
Tap "Edit Profile" or the Settings icon in your profile

Find Delete Account
Scroll down to the "Account Management" section and tap "Delete Account"

Confirm Deletion
Read the warning message carefully and confirm that you want to permanently delete your account
⚠️ Important Information
  • This action is permanent and cannot be undone
  • All your data will be permanently deleted from our servers
  • You will not be able to recover your account, bookings, or any data
  • If you signed in with Facebook, Google, or Apple, your account with those services will not be affected
⏱️ Deletion Timeline: Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your deletion request. During this period, your account will be deactivated and inaccessible.

What Data Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Profile Information: Name, email, phone number, profile picture
  • Authentication Data: Login credentials and session data
  • Booking History: All your appointments and booking records
  • Reviews & Ratings: All reviews you've written and received
  • Photos: Profile pictures and any uploaded images
  • Messages: Chat history and conversations
  • Payment Information: Saved payment methods (if any)
  • Preferences: App settings and notification preferences
  • Activity Logs: Search history and app usage data

Data Retention

Please note that certain data may be retained for legal and operational purposes:

  • Transaction records may be kept for accounting and tax purposes
  • Data required by law to be retained (e.g., for fraud prevention)
  • Anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked back to you

Alternative: Temporarily Deactivate

If you're not sure about permanent deletion, consider:

  • Logging out of the app
  • Disabling notifications in your device settings
  • Uninstalling the app (your data remains and you can reinstall later)
