Step-by-Step Guide
You can delete your account and all your data directly from within the Nails App. Follow these simple steps:
Launch the Nails App on your Android or iOS device
Tap on the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen
Tap "Edit Profile" or the Settings icon in your profile
Scroll down to the "Account Management" section and tap "Delete Account"
Read the warning message carefully and confirm that you want to permanently delete your account
- This action is permanent and cannot be undone
- All your data will be permanently deleted from our servers
- You will not be able to recover your account, bookings, or any data
- If you signed in with Facebook, Google, or Apple, your account with those services will not be affected
What Data Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Profile Information: Name, email, phone number, profile picture
- Authentication Data: Login credentials and session data
- Booking History: All your appointments and booking records
- Reviews & Ratings: All reviews you've written and received
- Photos: Profile pictures and any uploaded images
- Messages: Chat history and conversations
- Payment Information: Saved payment methods (if any)
- Preferences: App settings and notification preferences
- Activity Logs: Search history and app usage data
Data Retention
Please note that certain data may be retained for legal and operational purposes:
- Transaction records may be kept for accounting and tax purposes
- Data required by law to be retained (e.g., for fraud prevention)
- Anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked back to you
Alternative: Temporarily Deactivate
If you're not sure about permanent deletion, consider:
- Logging out of the app
- Disabling notifications in your device settings
- Uninstalling the app (your data remains and you can reinstall later)
